Local Implementation Groups (LIGs)

Local Implementation Groups (LIGs)are very important because they represent the views and experiences of people from different parts of Hampshire. They are made up of members of their local area and community and inform the Partnership Boards work by looking at what Valuing People Now means to local people.
What are the main aims of the LIGs?

  • To pass information to everyone about the development of local services and to make sure people know what is happening and what they need to do.
  • To use Learning Disability Development Fund money to develop services and help make change happen locally.
