This project is to help individuals develop their confidence and assertiveness skills. A 10 session course has been designed, involving aspects such as bullying, hate crime and abuse. The project aims to start work with the first group in September
A Guide to Basingstoke £12,150
An advocacy worker is supporting a group to produce a guide to Basingstoke. The ‘Wicked and Wacky’ group are creating a ‘virtual’ guide of Basingstoke. They are developing a workshop format to support people with using the guide
Plane and Easy £14,000
This is a social enterprise looking to build upon a smaller project that has been running through day services. The project is looking to find bigger and better premises to support people wishing to use woodwork and carpentry skills to make bird boxes and other wooden products. These will then be sold as part of a social enterprise model.
