Drop in Centre Eastleigh (DICE) £3132
DICE has been started by a gentleman with learning disabilities. The project provides other people with a learning disability with a place to meet to ‘chat, play games and share experiences and views’
Training breaks £15,000
This project has been set up to support four people to live independently or in supported living, through a series of activities and training opportunities.
Citizenship £8441
This project is training a group to help them understand how their community works and to help shape it. It is hoped that they will act as a reference group for organisations wishing to represent the views of people with learning disabilities.
Advocacy (Andover) £5417
Money for this project is being used to set up and run a self advocacy group in Andover.
Inclusive communities £8,000
This is about setting up activities and events within the local community. These are based on individuals choices and they provide access to these opportunities. Money is being used to establish activities, pay hire costs and staffing costs.
