Valuing People Now has the following main priorities for the next 3 years:
To raise awareness of Valuing People Now.
To have an effective Learning Disability Partnership Board operating in every Local Authority area.
To secure access to, and improvements in, healthcare.
To increase the range of housing options for people with learning disabilities and their families, including closing NHS Campuses.
Make sure Personalisation happens.
To increase employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities.
To be sure that we can really make these things happen in Hampshire we have written our own Strategy (Big Plan) called 'Ordinary People Leading Ordinary Lives'. To read our our strategy please Click Here
Partnership Board Sub Groups
To make sure that our strategy works, we have set up sub groups to work on all the important areas in Valuing People Now.These sub groups will work for and with the Partnership Board. Click on the boxes on the left of this writing to read more about these areas of work.
